The production of ultrasonic sieves is simplified very much by using the Navector method, because the screen wave-guide does not need to be tuned and the support device to the frame are not to be fixed in the nodal points.

Coupling the screen wave-guide to the frame, results in a better ultrasound distribution across the sieving mesh, as the ultrasonic energy is conducted to the frame, as well as from the frame to the screen cloth.

By positioning the converter outside the frame, the following advantages are generated:

· Sieving powder products do no longer touch or stick to the converter

· Simplified design result in easier maintenance when dis-assembly
